Meeting On Monday
This Monday, June 13, there will be a park board meeting at the village hall. It will start at 7:30pm.

I watched the hearing on Channel 6 this evening and was pleased to see several skateboarders in attendance. Michael Rushmore and Graham Crosh both made excellent presentations, addressing some key points. I was especially glad to hear Michael's comments on "teenagers and tot lots". After all, who do most mothers call when they need someone to babysit their tots? Teenagers, usually. I was also glad to hear Michael tell that there is a large number of skateboarders in Wilmette and that there is a huge potential for more if a skate park is built. Thanks guys!

Michael did great!! I liked how he said, "If we had a park more people would skate because like if there werent soccer fields people wouldnt play soccer."
